our history
The history of The Ridery is above all a shared passion for riding. Meeting on school benches, Axel and Lucas, the two founders, set themselves the mission of democratizing the practice of kitesurfing & wingfoil. So in 2018, in a logic of more reasoned use, for ecological and economic reasons, Axel & Lucas wanted to offer a new concept: à la carte rental.
After starting out with Axel's bedroom as headquarters, warehouse and office, Station F opened its doors to them. Driven by a desire to grow and offer a place dedicated to The Ridery community, the first shop opened in Paris in early 2021.
Since then, The Ridery has gone from strength to strength, first opening a rental outlet in Brussels, then a second shop in Marseille, and most recently a 3rd shop on the legendary Almanarre spot.
Not to mention temporary rental outlets across France in Saint-Malo, Cayeux-sur-mer and Fouesnant-les-Glénan.

The community
One of the great strengths of the ridery is its engaged community. it gives life to the brand and reinforces itself. it creates a sense of belonging and allows everyone to showcase themselves. our role is to manage and organize this community, proposing events adapted to wind conditions and creating opportunities to meet and share.

immediately feel at home. We offer riders a space where they can bring their dreams with them. It's the little touch of madness that makes their lives more exciting.

Our focus is on personalized advice and expertise. We don't see our riders as mere customers, but rather as people who understand their sporting project and want to find the solution that will enable them to practice their sport in the safest, most enjoyable way possible.
